Mount Abu

Mount Abu is the sole hill station of Rajasthan nestled at a height of 1219 m in the Aravalli Hills. The prime attraction of Mount Abu is the Dilwara Temple. Tourists from all over the country visit Mount Abu to see the exquisite carvings on the walls of this Jain temple. Another popular tourist spot in Mount Abu is the Nakki Lake. There is boating facility in the lake. Other attractions include Gurushikhar, Lover's Point, Peace Park, Honeymoon Point, Sunset Point and Gomukh Temple.

How to Reach

The nearest railway station is Abu Road. Mount Abu is 29 km from Abu Road. Regular bus services are available from Abu Road to Mount Abu. Shared jeeps and private cars are also plying in this route. Buses are also plying from Jodhpur to Mount Abu. Jodhpur and Abu Road stations are well connected to other parts of the country by rail.
