Horsley Hills

Horsley Hills is located in Kudappa district of Andhra Pradesh. This hill station situated at a height of 1256 m was discovered by W.D. Horsley. Horsley Hills is a calm and peaceful hill destination completely surrounded by lush greenery. A number of types of trees like Devdaru, Eucalyptus and Teak are seen here. Pedong

Pedong is situated 21 km away from the town of Kalimpong. Situated at an height of 5000 ft above sea level the town is surrounded with oak, pine and devdaru trees. One can also get a panoramic view of the town and the hills from Tinchuley hill. The town of Pedong consists of two parts. One is called the upper and the other is called lower. Most of the attractions are located in the lower part. One of them is the Pedong Monastery. This monastery was constructed by the Bhutanis in the year 1837. The ancient curvings of the temple are worth seeing. To experience the natural beauty of Pedong you must visit Dumsang Fort which was ruined by the British in the year 1864. The newest attraction of Pedong is the Tinchuley Hill. From Tinchuley Sunrise Point one can get a view of Namchi in the South, Kalimpong in the East, Tiger Hill in the North and Siliguri in the West. Other attractions include Ramitey, Franco Swiss Museum, Silence Valley, Reshi River, Rikkisum and Crosshill.

Jageshwar is an offbeat hill spot in the state of Uttarakhand. Actually Jageshwar is not a hill station. It is a hamlet situated on the banks of Jataganga river.
